Neil Gaiman’s ‘AMERICAN GODS’ getting another run at TV adaptation
American Gods. Getting another shot at life as a television series. I’ve been sitting on this one for a few days. Talked to some lovely people on the OL Facebook page about it. Ruminated further.Still don’t know how I feel about this.Ya see, it’s no longer being done over at HBO. Instead it’s being helmed by people responsible for some of CW’s lovely programming. (And not Arrow, okay fans of the show? I know I probably should be watching that.)

Who the fuck else would it be Caff, if not Microsoft? I know, I know. Hashtag redundancy. Anyways, before Neill Blomkamp was known for District 9 the good sir directed a series of stunning Halo short films. Bro was even involved in a movie adaptation. But things went and got stalled, which prompted Blomkamp to throw up the deuces. Dare we say the sir is returning to the franchise?

A little late on this tip, but whatever. Last night I was busy playing Mass Effect for the 35th time, before watching like nine episodes of Gurren Lagann with Bateman. So yeah! You know this! But let’s talk about it anyways. You pricks.
‘PARKS & REC’ RENEWED FOR SEVENTH SEASON. ALL THE CAPS.
This makes me happy. Tell me it doesn’t make you happy, and I’m liable to swing on you. I’ll swing! Seriously though, I want all the success in the world for this show. Even though I haven’t been as fucking thrilled with Parks this season as I have been in the past, I still enjoy it a heft amount. And more importantly, Parks and Rec continuing to exist when most fibers of my psyche are telling me “it’s not dumb enough for the average member of Bovine America” is a small victory.
Nicolas Winding Refn’s ‘BARBARELLA’ TV remake hitting AMAZON
Yet another hope and dream of Amazon’s for butting into the original television content market has been revealed. This dream is taking the form of Winding Refn’s Barbarella remake. Not exactly the next House of Cards, but hey — I didn’t expect much from that fucking series either. So yeah.

Ohhh snap. Looks like we have our first instance of the Big Boy Marvel Movie Universe tying in directly with Agents of SHIELD. Directly! I said directly. I know the shit from Thor: Darkened Hair Line had some trickle down effects in the show. But this time — it’s direct! Or something…I don’t really know.
‘JUSTIFIED’ ending after its sixth season. No, Raylan! No!
All fantastic things must come to an end. Even Justified, which is my favorite television show currently airing. All fantastic things could also usually use some semblance of an end point to aim towards. So while I’m a bit butt hurt that Raylan’s adventures have a little less than two seasons left, I’m glad the writers have a trajectory they can keep in mind while they plot.
