‘Joker’ sequel with Todd Phillips attached may or may not be happening. Probably yes, because we live in Hell
Today, news broke that a Joker sequel being helmed by Todd Phillips was a go. Not surprising, right? Original made a zillion dollars. However, Deadline has reported that shit ain’t set in stone. However given how much the first movie made, it’s pretty obvious the sequel is coming. I suppose the larger question is whether or not Phillips will return. Dude claims “artistic integrity” by made thirteen Hangover movies so fucking probably.

This trailer for the Joker flick is wild, man. At the very least, it ain’t like anything we’ve ever seen in a DC movie. Is that good? Bad? We will see.

If this movie were surrounded by different circumstances, I’d be pretty fucking stoked. I mean, Joaquin Phoenix as the Joker? If the DCEU wasn’t a filled diaper at the bottom of a burning dumpster, I’d be torqued by this perfect casting. But, as things stand, I guess I’m cautiously optimistic?

I understand this is a cascading wave of comic book failure raising towards me.

Hell yes. I’m madly in love with Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo’s run on Batman in the rebooted!, relaunched!, totally New 52! Seeing as I’m drinking their delicious honeyed nectar, how can I not be stoked they’re handling the return of the Joker?
‘BATMAN’ #1 Sells For Record Setting $850,000. That’s A Considerable Sum.
Batman #1 is not the debut issue of the Bats, but that hasn’t stopped a copy of it from selling for a considerable amount of dollah-dollah-bills, ya’ll.
