Monday Morning Commute: Carla Got A Good Deal On Her Third DigiMeat
Monday Morning Commute! I’m ailing. Single-parenting the dog this week while Sam-Omega is on location for work. Monday Morning Commute! So I ain’t sleeping, and I’m brute forcing this camaraderie-inducing column before I side-tilt and collapse-drool while watching football. Monday Morning Commute!
The weekly column where we gather here on Space-Ship OMEGA, and share what is getting us through the work week. Be it movies we are anticipating, albums we’re rocking to, funny books that are dropping on Wednesday.
Share! Share what’s on your existential plate. I will, too.
‘Fallout 4’ features Lynda Carter (Wonder Woman!), who also provided five original songs
Wut? Wonder Woman is a blues and jazz singer? #TheMoreYouKnow about Lynda Carter! She is all up in Fallout 4, and she ain’t just voicing a character. The talented legend is also providing original song for the futzing game (of the year).
Report: Nicole Kidman in talks to join ‘Wonder Woman’ movie
Nicole Kidman joining a comic book movie? Just when you think the Grand Cinematic Blight hasn’t engulfed All of Hollywood, it reminds you: There Are More.
‘Doctor Strange’ casts Michael Stuhlbarg as Nicodemus West
Michael Stuhlbarg is a dope actor. I don’t have any fucking familiarity with Nicodemus West, though. So like, yeah. I can read his wiki entry, but I don’t know if this is “inspired” or “accurate” casting or the such.
Rumor: Marvel’s ‘Iron Fist’ is going to be a Netflix movie
Hmm. Hmm. I really like Iron Fist, and this smacks of the character is getting the shaft here, in light of a Punisher push. But hey! Even if they’re pushing him out of the Defenders and giving him a movie instead of a series (fucking bullshit), maybe the aforementioned flick will be decent. What about you? Think this is legit? Would you prefer a series? Or a movie?
AMC’s ‘Preacher’ Trailer: Careful For What You Wish, Son
Going to level with you. I ain’t feeling this trailer for Preacher. It isn’t particularly bad in any way, it just isn’t particularly riveting. We got Dominic Cooper looking a bit too suave, not enough grit. But whatever. I ain’t going to write off the show just yet. What did you think?
Neil Gaiman is getting his own TV series, adapting his short stories
Neil Gaiman! Getting a television show dedicated to adapting four of his short stories. Pretty cool! I don’t fuck with Gaiman as much as some people, but I have a healthy respect for the man, and a hearty love for American Gods.
