Telltale’s ‘Batman Episode 2: Children of Arkham’ is dropping September 20
Telltale has announced the date for the second installment of their Batman series, as well as its title. Children of Arkham will be dropping later this month. September 20, to be exact!
Conor McGregor is starring in ‘Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare’
Man. I generally despise Conor McGregor. But I also generally adore Call of Duty. So this development is interesting. Here is hoping he is some sort of villain that I can eventually pummel to save The United Federation of America, or something.
‘Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’ Remastered Multiplayer Trailer: The Classic gets a Shine
I’m totally buying the Modern Warfare Remaster edition of Infinite Warfare. ‘Cause I love Call of Duty and I love(d) Modern Warfare. I don’t need a trailer to convince me to make this decision, but watching this certainly doesn’t make me regret it.
Report: Nintendo NX is bringing back Cartridges; party like it’s 1996
Nintendo is bringing back cartridges, the format that single-handedly delivered them a strong L in the Nintendo 64 generation. Though, I mean, they’ve never truly went away for Nintendo, have they? Given their portable systems and all. Still though, bringing them back for their home console seems like an interesting idea. I have no idea if it’ll work. I know nothing.
‘Final Fantasy XV’ begins “Open World”, becomes more “Linear” in Second Half
I don’t really know what to make of this news. Or rather, I don’t know what it means. Apparently Final Fantasy XV is going to start off “open world”, as the magical boy band drives around the world. Fighting Titans, jerking each other off in gas station bathrooms (as all bro road trips should be), cruising in their car. However, the title will become more linear in the second half of the game. Okay. Fine. I’m sort of with it so far. But what gives me a pause is when in an interview the game director says “we made it in a way that you’ll also get to advance through it as you have in conventional Final Fantasy games“, which, huh. Wait.
Run The Jewels debuts ‘Panther Like A Panther’ in ‘Gears of War 4’ Horde Gameplay Trailer
Yes, the lead of this paragraph is decidedly Run The Jewels and not Gears of War 4. That said, I’m excited for both the new Gears and RTJ3. Moreso RTJ3, but I’m sweating that more than most things.
‘No Mario’s Sky’ is a playable game; better than Hello Games’ Effort?
Incendiary, bullshit title. First that popped to mind, though. So whatever. Give me money and I’ll give you genuine effort in these headlines (no I won’t).
‘Watch Dogs 2’ Gameplay Footage: Hack (Everything On) The Planet!
Oh, I’m hype for this game. Oh, so, very hype. One of my major misgivings (obviously) with the first Watch Dogs was how inconsequential hacking was to the actual game. Credit Ubisoft for recognizing this fuckery, and seemingly rectifying it in the sequel.
‘Tomb Raider’ game series’ new director comes from ‘Dead Space’
The Tomb Raider game franchise has finally landed its new director, and he hails from one of my favorite game series of all time. Dead Space. Oh, and Battlefield Hardline. I’m just going to focus on the former, cool?
