‘Community’ and ‘Parks and Rec’ director Rob Schrab helming ‘LEGO Movie’ sequel

The LEGO Movie has gotten itself its director. While the original directors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller will be writing and producing the movie, it’s Rob Schrab behind the lens. Or uh, whatever it is you call the lens equivalent for an animated movie. You may konw Schrab from his work directing episodes of Park and Rec and Community. Or if you’re a next-level boss, you’ll recognize Schrab as the creator of Scud: The Disposable Assassin.

Sony Hack: ’22 Jump Street’ sequel could team-up with “Men In Black’

Praise Be: ‘Lego Movie’ directors returning to write ‘Lego Movie 2’

The Lego Movie was goddamn fantastic. And while there are myriad reasons for the movie kicking ass, Phil Lord and Chris Miller are objectively 75% of those reasons. So the idea that they’re returning to write and produce the second one has me (once again improbably) excited for the flick.

‘Lego Movie’ dudes Phil Lord and Chris Miller working on pilot for CBS.

Between Lego Movie, and the Jump Street flicks, Phil Lord and Chris Miller can get it. From me! Right up against my pop-culture geek prostate. So this news is fucking radical. The two Dudes are working on a pilot for CBS (which I know ugh they’re the wasteland of non-comedy) with a mind from The Office.

Guys behind ‘LEGO MOVIE’ may direct ‘GHOSTBUSTERS 3’.

Ghostbusters.

Phil Lord and Chris Miller  are in talks to direct the third Bustin’ Ghosts (BUSTIN’ MAKES ME FEEL GOOD) flick. Is Ghostbuster 3 an appropriate homage, or in bad taste, after the passing of Harold Ramis? I’m torn. However should it get made, this stellar combination may be helm the beast.
