Fincher, Affleck, and Gillian Flynn remaking ‘Strangers On A Train’
Ben Affleck, David Fincher, and Gillian Flynn are remaking Strangers On A Train. That’s right. The whole posse from that Gone Baby Girl Girl Gonehood flick teaming up once again.
‘Community’ returning March 17! Coolcoolcoohforgetit
Community! It fucking lives! Community! Premiering March 17! On Yahoo. How am I watching it on Yahoo? Is there a fucking app? Or something? Eh?
New ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ Trailer: #TeamBanner For Life, Kid
New Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer. Gorgeous action. Overwrought, hokey dialogue. I’m pumped. Also, fuck Tony Stark.
Monday Morning Commute: Lowdown Sisyphus Up-Rock
Monday, motherfuckers. Another day at the beginning of another week. For those of us on the M-F Grind, Monday heralds yet another blitz through the whirling blades of the Existential Gauntlet. But fear not, friends. The Man has peppered our lives with another Meaningless Morsels to keep us just Fat, Happy, and Distracted Enough from pulling plugs and diving into stark abysses.
These are the Meaningless Morsels I’m enjoying this week. Please share your own.
‘Star Wars’ Non-News Rumor: Simon Kinberg taking over writing first stand-alone
YEAHH BOIII. A new week, a new batch of Star Wars non-news. Last week the Phat Web Pipes reported that Some Guy Whose Name I Forget was moving one from his writing duties on the franchise’s first stand-alone flick. Now comes word that Simon Kinberg is going to take the reins.
‘Better Call Saul’ Extended Trailer: Miguel, James Miguel
New Better Call Saul trailer. It looks damn good and I hate that. I can barely watch my regular stories as Nana calls them these days, let alone add another one to the rotation. I’ll find a way, though. At least for one episode. I’ll find a way.
Cracked Pirate Bay code says “I’ll Be Back.”
Uh. Not that I pirate. I simply would not! But if I were to pirate shitty albums and movies and stuff that didn’t deserve my hard earned bucks (or poorly efforted bucks) I would be excited about this.
‘House of Cards’ Season 3 Trailer: Sociopath In Chief
Yeah I’m one of those folks seriously underwhelmed to the point of jumping ship when House of Card‘s second season jumped the shark. And yet! I can’t help but me intrigued when a trailer for season three hits. So I guess maybe sort of I’ll catch-up.
Re-Spawn: Paul Jenkins is taking over as writer of ‘Spawn’ with Issue #251
What kind of scumbag uses a shit joke that just riffs on a word also in the title? THIS SCUMBAG. After getting pumped that Brian Wood was writing Spawn, I got pretty un-pumped when he announced he left the title over editorial problemz. But now I’m doubling-down on my excitement (and hyphens, and shit puns, and shit heads, and shit holes) now that word of Paul Jenkin’s participation on the title has rocketed out of McFarlane’s gullet.
