Weekend Open Bar: Cheer and Bloating In Oblivion
Weekend Open Bar! And a content one at that.
My wife is home, tucked into bed. Home for the first time in more or less two weeks. Laffy Taff is in my gut, tucked into my digestive tract via my head-hole. In my gut for the first time in more or less too long. Outside, the crickets are chirping. A cool breeze passes by. Inside, the Red Sox are playing. A cool breeze passes by.
The Summer is winding down here in the Eastern arm of the Empire, and it was a damn good one for me. A mellow, unremarkable jaunt filled with teaching, quality time with my wife, some passable cinema, and a lot of really good wrestling.
I will not lament it leaving, though. For as I shed the husk of my most enjoyable Summer in years, it is being ushered out the door in lieu of the Most Wonderful time of the Year.

‘Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’ Remastered Multiplayer Trailer: The Classic gets a Shine
I’m totally buying the Modern Warfare Remaster edition of Infinite Warfare. ‘Cause I love Call of Duty and I love(d) Modern Warfare. I don’t need a trailer to convince me to make this decision, but watching this certainly doesn’t make me regret it.

Report: Nintendo NX is bringing back Cartridges; party like it’s 1996
Nintendo is bringing back cartridges, the format that single-handedly delivered them a strong L in the Nintendo 64 generation. Though, I mean, they’ve never truly went away for Nintendo, have they? Given their portable systems and all. Still though, bringing them back for their home console seems like an interesting idea. I have no idea if it’ll work. I know nothing.
New Horizons has taken pictures of *another* dwarf planet in the Kuiper Belt
New Horizon ain’t just snapping shots of Pluto, everyone’s favorite (dwarf) planet. Nah. Nah! It’s also snapping shots of 50000 Quaoar. A dwarf planet roughly half the size of Pluto.
