Winona Ryder leading Netflix’s 1980s supernatural drama
It looks like Winona Ryder is getting into the Netflix game, with a premise that seems dope enough to care about.
Yahoo is in talks for seventh season of ‘Community’
I didn’t watch Community in its current, sixth-season iteration. The cast turnover, the new place of residence, all of it was off-putting to me. Did you? Should I? So I’m not really qualified to judge whether or not this is good news. All I know is that with ever subsequent season that has ended, I’ve felt more and more like the actual show has been left behind.
Kelly Sue DeConnick and Matt Fraction adapting ‘The Wicked + The Divine’ for TV
Molto interessante! It appears that the Milkfed Criminal Masterminds ain’t just adapting their own works for TV. The duo are also developing adaptations of other popular, critically acclaimed comic series, too. And while I don’t particularly enjoy The Wicked + The Divine (maybe I should read more of it?), I think this announcement is a dope portent.
Rumor: Elektra in ‘Daredevil’ season two, confirmed by audition tapes
It’s pretty much a fucking no brainer to bring Elektra in for Daredevil‘s second season. So, I’m glad that these purported audition tapes confirm that the writing staff is on the same level as me. You know, chubby, irrelevant blogger. But still. Solidarity among us.
Watch: ‘Daredevil’ gets ‘Night Court’ And ‘Law & Order’ themed credits
I fucking love Daredevil. I want to crawl into Murdock’s tight suit with him, and be in his thunderous soul as he crushes vermin and broods. But I will have to settle for these gnarly mash-ups.
