What an odd fucking title. And man, am I ever stoked for odd, out of the normal titles from the Big Two. The announcement caught by eyes because of the presence of Amy Reeder, whom I totally love on Rocket Girl.

Zach Galifianakis? As the Joker? Sure! I don’t really have a problem with it. LEGO Batman (by virtue of the original LEGO movie) is going to have such a whacky tone that this seems perfectly fine.

Capcom announces ‘Resident Evil 2’ remake is officially happening
Man. Remember when the beloved Japanese gaming companies from the halcyon days of gaming’s youth made wonderful titles? And didn’t just alternate between remaking those vaunted games, and pumping out crappy new installments in the franchises? I mean, I guess a part of me is excited that Capcom is remaking Resident Evil 2. But a better chunk of my psyche is wishing they weren’t so fucking adrift that they could pull off an excellent Resident Evil 7.

Listen. I know this probably makes me a sucker. I know! But I’m totally interested in some Hard-R, weird, meta-riff on Baywatch starring Zac Efron and The Rock. I just am! At the very least, it’s going to be an absurd slab of beefcake on the screen for SAM-OMEGA (and me) to enjoy. She’ll (we’ll) be there for that.
