Danny McBride in talks to join ‘Alien: Covenant’
The truth is that I’m going to see Ridley Scott’s Alien: Covenant regardless of what is said about it prior to (or at its) release. It’s Ridley Scott, its an Alien movie. But if I was straight-up *pretending* that I wasn’t interested initially because Prometheus was raw-ass served up with a side order of marbled diarrhea chunks, I would say the addition of Kenny fucking Powers intrigues me enough to consider it.

‘EASTBOUND AND DOWN’ SEASON 4 TRAILER: POWERS IS RISEN
I didn’t really like Eastbound and Down‘s third season. I know, I suck. Whatever. I wasn’t really cool with the idea of them tacking on another season…and I like this trailer. I am Forever Fraud, Know Me.
‘EASTBOUND & DOWN’ Getting Fourth Season. I Hope It’s Better Than Season Three.
I didn’t really give a shit about Eastbound & Down‘s third season. This runs contrary to some of the other OL regulars, but what can I say. Imma drop the truth. Powers went full douchebag, and the underlying heart that made him quasi-redeemable wavered in and out. I’m hoping the fourth season can crawl its way back to a happy medium.
THIS WEEK ON Eastbound & Down: Chapter 21 РGrand Final̩
ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?!? Be honest. This final episode of Eastbound flipped you on your head, had you crying like a baby, and then had your fist clenched in the air as if to say “you got me, assholes!”, before gently shutting itself down forever. It was the emotional equivalent to 4 years of High School packed into 30 minutes of programming, and now it’s my job to somehow pick up the pieces of your shattered soul to provide some level of clarity in this moment of somber reflection. Wish me luck suckas, because the only way I can describe the series finale is:
Hollywood/Prefontaine/Hollywood.

THIS WEEK ON Eastbound & Down: Chapter 20
Do you hear that? It’s the sound of every subplot closing on EB&D, as the series begins to neatly wind itself down into the off position leading up to the grande finale this Sunday. 20 is my favorite episode this year, and it had plenty of great momentos. So join me after the jump on our penultimate expedition EVER into the world of Kenny Fucking Powers.
THIS WEEK ON Eastbound & Down – Chapter 19
Mother of Satan! EB&D takes the family circus to levels never before unseen, in what ends up more of an anthropologic character experience than an actual plot-progressing episode. I get it though. Not bitchin. I still believe. This week each vice is tidily accounted for, one by one, as we examine the true inner-workings of a southern dysfunctional family the likes of which produced such greatness that is, K fucking P.
THIS WEEK ON Eastbound & Down – Chapter 18
We are fully in uncharted territory on EB&D. Where it goes next, nobody knows…sorta. Following a doppleganger story arc from last year, we have another family affair this week as KP focuses on breaking out of his slump with an epic 4th of July blowout. Stevie goes back to being a putz, and we fully explore the deep dark cavities of humor that are completely unpresentable to most audiences.
THIS WEEK ON Eastbound & Down – Chapter 17
If you follow the patent-pending Eastbound story arc, the 4th episode always ends up being one of the darkest. This season is no exception, as things get pretty grim…in a good way. This week Kenny deals with the aftermath of Shane’s death, and a mountain of child-born adversity, as we step back into the dark underbelly of comedic greatness after the jump.
THIS WEEK ON Eastbound & Down – Chapter 16
It gets wet n’ wild this week on EB&D, as we encounter some predictably unpredictable circumstances on our journey back to comedic certitude. It is now my professional opinion that KP has fully recovered from an anemic start to season 3, and much good seems to be in store ahead as we once again bask in darkness of the KP experience…right after the jump.
THIS WEEK ON Eastbound & Down – Chapter 15
The latest Eastbound drop was a disappointment to EB&D loyalist, who have such lofty expectations for the final season, that anything less perfection each Sunday night is enough to sour their entire following work week. The more fickle fans have already thrown in the towel, but my position continues to be one of moderation, and hope for a brighter future. So let us all hold hands in quiet prayer as we delve into the gritty details of Chapter 15…the good, the bad, and the ugly.
