‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’ dropping in 2020, according to James Gunn
I’ll forgive you if you’ve forgotten that GOTG Vol. 2 dropped last year. Compared to Spidey: Homecoming and Thor: Ragnarok, it was a pretty uninspired retread of the original movie. That said, Gunn is bringing the cast back to the screen in 2020, and here’s hoping it’s a bit more spicy than the second movie.

It’s been a few years now since “Hitman: Agent 47” was released to a brutal spattering of criticism. While the movie did okay at the box office, critics were relentless in labeling it yet another failed game-to-big screen adaptation. One review summed up the sentiment best, calling it “another video game adaptation that critics will largely dismiss and audiences will mostly ignore.”

James Gunn will be back to close out the trilogy he started. The director has revealed that he’s officially writing and directing the third installment of Guardians of the Galaxy. And, barring the second volume sucking, this is pretty rad news.
