It’s glad to see DC finally not fucking around on something awesome. Patty Jenkins and Geoff Johns are already writing the treatment for Wonder Woman 2.
A new Justice League photo has a good portion of the squad doing what superhero squads do (second) best: posing.
You know, I generally don’t like Geoff Johns. Find the dude hackneyed. But, that said, I really enjoyed all of the DCU’s showings this past weekend at SDCC. So, yeah, I’m going to go ahead and be excited about the news that he’s officially the President of DC Entertainment. Dude has helped them turn a corner. Hopefully.
Geoff Johns co-wrote the Wonder Woman movie. I do not like Johns. But anything is up from Batman v Superman, right? Oh wait, Zack Snyder is responsible for the story? Geoff Johns. And Zack Snyder. With Allan Heinberg co-writing? I don’t know, man. I don’t know.
One day into his reign as the creative head of DC Films, and Geoff Johns has already garnered more trust from me than in all the dark, dark days of Snyder running the show combined. I mean, it may blow up in my face. But so far, dude is saying all the right things.
The good news: Warner Bros. realizes they need to shake things up in their DC Films division. The bad news: they’ve chosen Geoff Johns (and Jon Berg). The good news: it can’t be any worse. The bad news: I’m not sure how much better it can get under his (their) stewardship.
DC Comics has a new logo. Take it or leave it, I don’t give a shit.
I mean, it has to be a fucking Batman solo movie, right? If not, Affleck and Johns are trolling the Internet at completely fucking respectable levels. FWIW, though, I can’t stand Johns. #ISuckIKnow
Today, the talents behind Green Lantern: Rebirth and Flash: Rebirth teased a new…Rebirth series. Say Rebirth again, Ian. Rebirth! Fuck!
Woah. Like, I don’t really enjoy Geoff Johns that often, but this is still somewhat cool to me. Also — very excited that Affleck is directing.
