‘Doctor Strange’ casts Benedict Wong (‘The Martian’) as the Sorcerer’s Sidekick
Dr. Strange in Doctor Strange has got his Strange Sidekick. The role of Wong will be played by Benedict Wong, who many have seen Bringing Matt Damon’s Ass Home in last fall’s The Martian.

Michael Stuhlbarg is a dope actor. I don’t have any fucking familiarity with Nicodemus West, though. So like, yeah. I can read his wiki entry, but I don’t know if this is “inspired” or “accurate” casting or the such.

Doctor Strange! Totally has a director. Totally-totally-probably has a lead actor in Joaquin Phoenix. Totally-totally-probably has a Summer 2016 release date, too.
Joaquin Phoenix totally close to being named ‘Doctor Strange’
It appears that Joaquin Phoenix is going to continue keeping it strange. Doctor Strange!, that is! (I HATE MYSELF AND MY WRITING.) Some time ago this summer (depending when/where you exist within the space-time continuum) it was announced that Phoenix was going to be nabbing the role of Marvel’s Mystic. Then! Silence. Murmurs. Now! Confirmation.
