Fuck to the yes, my friends. Black Panther was fantastic. Additionally, it was also very much a sliver of Ryan Coogler’s soul. So, it is fantastic that he will return for the sequel.
Welcome to the Open Bar, you fucks. The wank-off where we, the gilded turds of the Space-Ship Omega, share what we’re up to during the weekend. I must level with you, seeing Black Panther is at the core of my entire existence the next couple of days. Seeing it tonight, Friday, with comrades. Seeing it Sunday night with my male progenitor. And in the middle? I imagine gushing and flushing all my savory glands discussing it. Here, on OL. Saturday night, on Twitch.
Welcome to the MONDAY MORNING COMMUTE!
What’s this weekly feature, you ask? Well, first I’m going to batter your brain with some drivel-fiction sci-fi nonsense. After that, I’m going to share some of the entertainment foodstuffs I’ll be devourin’ over the course of the week. Y’know, as a means of sustaining joy during the spirit-threatin’ workdays.
But wait! The best part is when everyone who isn’t me jumps into the comments section to share what they’ll be doing this week! So enough with the prelude, let’s go for it!
Here’s the final trailer for Black Panther, which some people are calling a TV spot, which I’m just calling fucking awesome.
Black Panther has gotten itself an international trailer, and I am 100% not fucking with it. Man, I’m so goddamn sold! I don’t need to be persuaded, I don’t need anything else spoiler. But, apparently, it features some dope upgrades for T’Challa’s suit.
How is this movie even fucking real, dude? I cannot wait.
My god. I thought I was enjoying the trailer for Black Panther *before* Run The Jewels began playing. By the first “woo” hit, I was ready to run through a goddamn wall. I cannot wait for this movie.
Black Panther got itself a new logo, which coincides with confirmation that filming has begun. Interestingly, too, at the same time as Infinity War.
Hey! Some non-news! But, MCU sluts like me will fucking love it anyways! Black Panther! Will have 1990s flashbacks.
The Black Panther cast is stacked! Stacked! It was before news came out that Angela Bassett was playing T’Challa’s mother. Now it’s even more so!
