Report: Nintendo Switch Runs 40 Percent Slower While Undocked
According to a report, the Nintendo Switch is going to run 40% slower while it’s undocked. With great mobility comes great cost, it appears. As someone who both wants a Switch and doesn’t mobile game at all, this doesn’t bother me. But I imagine it may bum some folk out?

‘Final Fantasy XV’ Getting New Game Plus Next Week
Every game should have a New Game+ mode. Every game. Especially games where you spend fifty+ hours accruing dope abilities you want, just to have the adventure end. I’m glad to see Final Fantasy XV is getting on board.
Nintendo Taking The Switch On A “Preview Tour” Next Month
I’m already *way* in on the Nintendo Switch. I mean. They had me at first-party titles. I mean. They *really* had me at the new Zelda. But if you’re not convinced, perhaps attending the mofuckin’ rolling Switch tour that Nintendo is rolling out next month can convince you.
Final Fantasy XV – One longtime series fan’s review
The web’s littered with reviews of Final Fantasy XV already, Square’s beleaguered fifteenth entry in its flagship franchise. I’ll try and share information and judgements you hopefully haven’t read a dozen times already. I’m coming from the perspective of a longtime fan of Final Fantasy, as a franchise. I’ve played almost all the mainline games, having started with the entirely iconic and brilliant VI back in 1994, and culminating with XIII, which did its best to break me with its amateur, fragmented storytelling and disappointing design decisions.
My playstyle with FF XV was to tackle the main storyline first, with an odd bit of optional content here or there, and see if the game grabbed me enough to keep going after that. As it turned out, this may not be the optimal way to enjoy this title, which just annoyed me a bit further. This game is definitely more of a road trip. You’ll probably walk away from it with better memories if you don’t blitz through the main campaign as I did, taking the time instead to essentially hang out with your boy band and wander.
If you’d rather skip my rambling and get to my list of pros and cons, hit Page Down like…twice or something.
Dishonored 2: I want to play a game with real consequences.

I’m currently coming down after finishing probably my two favorites things of 2016. The series Westworld and the game Dishonored 2. That sad feeling that you know the end is near. Like a good book you can’t put down but suddenly find yourself turning the pages more slowly because you know you’re almost out. Almost out of that new experience juice. That something that is intangible until its gone and you realize you won’t get it back. That first run.
I actually slowed my play of Dishonored because I really wanted to savor the end result. I played the whole game killing as few people as possible. In a lot of cases this meant a lot of reloads, as not only is easy to accidentally kill someone but the difficulty if much higher in approaching the various scenarios the game gives you. It’s easy to toss a grenade into a room and watch the fun from 3 stories up. It’s much harder to get up close and personal to each enemies and take them out one by one. I really wanted to not only play non-lethally but also be a total ghost to the NPC. (the last part didn’t work out so well) I did however complete the game with the ‘best’ ending, as in the most positive outlook for the kingdom and our characters.
‘Wipeout’ Remasters Coming To PlayStation 4 In The ‘Omega Collection’

Wipeout is getting itself a remastered anthology on the PlayStation 4, titled the Omega Collection. Listen, anyone affixing “omega” to anything is fucking clutch in my book. So I give this development my approval. It also doesn’t hurt that the fucking Wipeout games were fantastic, and it’s a goddamn shame we haven’t gotten a new one since 2012.
