Here’s something that happened. Some power-gaming quasi-lord just broke the record for longest consecutive run on one quarter. 85 fucking hours. I can’t relate to doing anything for so long, or for even wanting to. But I can still tip my cap.

Syfy turning ‘THE EXPANSE’ book series into their “GAME OF THRONES.”
Crazy fucking hyperbole, but god dammit guys — I’m excited. The Expanse series (starting with Leviathan Wakes) are three of my favorite science-fiction novels of the last five years. I LOVE THEM SO FUCKING HARD. So if Syfy is really getting their shit together and dedicating their energy towards bringing the show to the small screen? With something resembling aspiration and a budget? My he-clit throbs.

No duh: HBO orders TWO MORE SEASONS OF ‘GAME OF THRONES’
Game of Thrones, or as we call it around the office White People Fucking Their Siblings On Dragons w/Politics, has been renewed for a fifth and sixth season. This shouldn’t be surprising, as the show has slowly begun to consume our pop culture psyche at something like Breaking Badian levels.
SAMUEL L. JACKSON will be on ‘AGENTS OF SHIELD’ finale. ALL the fanboners.
Without spoiling anything in Winter Soldier (Jesus fucking Christ, see the movie!), there are some pretty staggering fucking ramifications for Agents of SHIELD that rise up out of the flick. Much head scratching, what the shit now? type ramifications. So it’s rad as hell to hear that the Nick Fury will be on the show to help deal with it. And I’ll level with you: this sort of synergy gets my asshole so taut from excitement that it begins to drag my testicles nearly into its hairy abyss. I’m just saying.
‘OPRHAN BLACK’ Season 2 Trailer: Many Clones, Many Problems
Like god knows how many clones running around in Orphan Black, and they’re all suffering shit lives. Can’t wait to see said shit lives continue! Plus! Fucking Plus! Is that Doral from BSG running around? Fuck yes.
‘TRAILER PARK BOYS’ SEASON 8 TRAILER: F**kin’ Eh!, The Boys Are Back
I cannot be more excited about the new seasons of Trailer Park Boys dropping on Netflix. Sure the quality of the show waned over its initial run, but in some completely unhealthy way I grew to love and intertwine myself around the souls of my fictional fellow Nova Scotians. Their return makes whole some broken sector of my rotting psyche. This preview had me losing it, and if you don’t like it you can plunge a stick of dynamite up your ass and go throw yourself to the Winds of Shit.

How long after a creator’s pinnacle moment is it fair to still get excited about them? Or is it prudent? The adolescent fanboy in me is really excited that Chris Carter is doing a show based on Area 51. But then I count the years since I’ve given a fuck about anything he’s done and realize I should probably not get too excited.
