Hulu announces they won’t allow binge-watching of their new slate of shows
Hulu ain’t down with binge-watching. The company has announced that you won’t be able to plow through their upcoming slate of offerings in one sitting, instead reverting back to that dusty, moth-covered TV model you all hate. My knee-jerk reaction is to say this is “fucking stupid” and “retrograde.” But you know what? I’ve really enjoyed the hype and conversation that comes with having to wait every week for a new episode of certain shows. Namely, last year’s True Detective. And Mr. Robot this year. There are certainly pros and cons to both models, and while I think they’re going to face a large backlash for this, I’m not holding one of the pitchforks.

‘Agent Carter’ Season 2’s villain is Madame Masque
Peggy Carter got herself a new nemesis in her second season. That nemesis being none other than Madame Masque. I’m not familiar with the character outside of her presence in Fraction’s Hawkguy run. But that don’t mean I ain’t stoked!
Community’s sixth season was its last; we may still get a movie
I can’t be too sad about Community ending after six seasons. After all I, you know, never even watched the sixth one. But here’s hoping we get a movie? Please?

Amazon orders pilot from Tig Notaro and Louis C.K.
Tig Notaro is dominating the scene this year. HBO special. Documentary. And now the comedian is getting a pilot greenlit, which is being produced by Louis C.K.’s production company.
Marvel’s ‘Jessica Jones’ hitting Netflix in Q4 of 2015
Like, time is running out, Netflix. Marvel. Disney. Triheaded Bastard Abomination. Time is running out for you to state a release date for Jessica Jones. Sure you came out today and said “late 2015”, but what the fuck does that even mean. It’s practically August. Time is running out.
Netflix Czar: ‘Arrested Development’ Season 5 negotiations are “underway”
I have to imagine that we’re going to get a fifth season of Arrested Development at some point. When that will be is slave to a couple of things. One, like, when the actors’ schedules permit. And two, like, when these negotiations are done. But I have to imagine it’s so mutually beneficial to both Netflix and the cast that it will happen.
