Man, General Zod has a serious hate-stiffy for old Clark. Homeboy makes it pretty clear in this trailer he is willing to trash tons of us squishy homosapiens just to get old Kent out of hiding. The result? A pretty fucking wicked trailer, replete with all sorts of ‘splosions.

Oh golly, that shameless pun. Here’s a first look of J-Law as Mystique in X-Men: Days of Future Past. If I’m being real, I’l cop to forgetting that she is involved in this franchise. And what an errant fuck that makes me. Anyways, enough of my blathering. Hit the jump for blue goodness.
OH SHIT, WHEDON CONFIRMS: QUICKSILVER AND SCARLET WITCH are in ‘AVENGERS 2.’ Prepare yourself.
The Whedon has confirmed what has been speculated: the motherfuckering (yes, fuckering) Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver shall be in the second Avengers movie. I don’t know about you, my fellow Marvel fans, but this makes the Universe really fucking interesting to me.
CHRISTOPHER NOLAN + JAMES BOND = REAL. Maybe. Sort of.
Christopher Nolan opined back during some movie’s marketing (Inception?) that he would love to direct a Bond flick. Well buckle up fuckers, because what was once seemingly outlandish may actually come to fruition. Word on the street has it that the director is in informal talks to helm a James Bondage experience.

Arnie Schwarz is in talks for a major role in the Toxic Avenger remake, though it ain’t for the titular one. Bummer. Homeboy looks particularly monstrous and melty since his return to the big screen.I would have loved to see him parlay that into a role as the toxic freakshow.

This dumb as shit quote from Kevin Smith explains a lot. Namely, how willing he is to pander to geeks’ loves. Or how out of touch he can be with his own work. Or how he would routinely praise the prequels back in the day.

Okay, this picture is dope. That’s two, mark it two!, pictures from X-Men: Days of Future Past that I’m digging. The correlation between the two? They’re both scenes that take place in the past. I loved First Class because it was also a period piece (can we call it that?), and so I imagine I’ll probably dig the shit out of those parts of Future Past. Brief aside: what’s up with Beast?

Opinions Vary: Rocky IV Is a Cold War Musical Extravaganza
In case you missed it, it was recently announced that Rocky: the Musical, the tuneful reimagining of the Oscar-winning film and current hit in Germany, will be coming to Broadway in the near future. A brainchild of none other than Sylvester Stallone, the production transports the classic boxing story from the screen to the stage, to a genre whose aim is to not only capture the eyes of the audience, but their ears as well (without the need to cast Mike Tyson). So American audiences will soon have the opportunity to do more than just cheer on their favorite all-American underdog; they will be able to sing along with the prized pugilist, lyric for mumbled lyric.
