Here’s the trailer for The Desolation of Smaug. I’m not going to stunt, I enjoy seeing some dragon up in the game. It’s a shame that it took a three-hour prelude movie. It’s a shame that Jackson has to stick every fucking bit of fan service into these movies that he can. Whatever, whatever. Benjamin Cumbersnatch as a dragon. Right on.

First Look: CAPTAIN AMERICA’S UNIFORM from ‘WINTER SOLDIER.’ Well, better than the ‘AVENGERS’ one.
I wasn’t a fan of Captain America’s outfit in Avengers. Looked all Hot Topic fetishware for my taste, with my primary complaint being the mask. So I’m pretty excited for any new outfit. Here’s a look at some concept art that displays what Mr. America will be donning in his second flick.

I don’t particularly buy this rumor, but I really dig anything Star Wars related. So I’ll indulge it. If the latest batch of boiling nonsense is to be believed, Episode VII is going to be starring Uncle Luke and his Force-sensitive niece and nephew.

This has to be good news regarding the initial buzz surrounding Man of Steel. Despite not dropping for a few more days, the son of a bitch is already in line for a sequel.

Opinions Vary: When The Action-Packed Becomes Too Packaged
Imagine, if you will, the following scenario: You’re sitting in a movie theater, enjoying a nicely constructed action sequence on screen. Everything is working and you know the stakes involved because you’ve been paying attention the whole time and the present action, to its credit, is coherent. However, just for good measure, punctuating the sequence, some guy next to you starts to narrate the events, giving a play by play of every punch thrown, every kick dropped, every daring move displayed. And, to top it all off, he’s even thoughtful enough to add some recaps and character motivations, just in case you’re confused about what’s going on or you missed something that happened earlier in the proceedings.

I continue covering Guardians of the Galaxy news, not really familiar with both the Universe, and half the cast. Whatever. It’s a ridiculously expensive space epic set within the Marvel Universe. That alone has my attention. The latest addition to the cast is Karen Gillan. She’s from Doctor Who, which I also don’t know much about.
