‘MAN OF STEEL’ SEQUEL getting SUPER (LOL) FAST TRACKED. Snyder and Goyer writing.
This has to be good news regarding the initial buzz surrounding Man of Steel. Despite not dropping for a few more days, the son of a bitch is already in line for a sequel.
How can you tell when a studio is feeling confident? Well, with reviews for “Man Of Steel” officially landing in just a couple of hours (ours too), it looks like a followup is not only on deck, but coming faster than…well, you know…
Deadline reports that Warner Bros. has officially put a “Man Of Steel” sequel on the fast track, with Zack Snyder returning to direct, and David S. Goyer once again penning the script. As for Christopher Nolan? His name is still expected to be on the franchise as a producer, though his role won’t be as “full blown” this time around; and considering how much he has downplayed his involvement even on this movie, our guess is that is might be more to use his name as a brand than anything else,.
So what does this mean for “Justice League”? Well, it could still be a way off, though the seeds have been planted. “Do the DC characters exist in the universe I created? The answer is yes,” Snyder told Hero Complex. “In my mind, we have this fantastic character of Superman. It’s not madness that there would be others.”
