Marvel’s Sunday At C2E2: McKelvie On ‘DEFENDERS’ And More
Marvel dropped some news yesterday at C2E2, the most glorious of which to me is the news that Jamie McKelvie is taking over as artist on Defenders.

‘HAWKEYE’ By FRACTION and AJA To Launch In August. Frak Yeah.
Everyone in the Avengers fucking party! I know, I know. Spreading thin, et cetera. I don’t care. Hawkeye by Fraction and Aja is coming, bringing with it a groin swell from my corner of the room.
Covers and deets post-jump.
MARK WAID Launches “THRILLBENT” Digital Comics On May 1
At C2E2, Mark Waid has laid out the deets on his upcoming digital comics venture. It’s called Thrillbent, and its dropping the cloak covering its naughties this May 1.
Terrorist Claims BATMAN Inspired Him To Act. Frank Miller Broods
Frank Miller is going to be pissed. A convicted terrorist referenced Batman in his explanations, and it doesn’t take a genius to figure out it’s probably Dickhead Batman that Miller created many moons ago.
DC COMICS Announces ‘DIGITAL FIRST’ BATMAN By Lemire, and Lindelof. This Is Hot.
The giant digital push is coming, so grab the grease and practice your groans or moans. Depending on your distributional ideology. DC has announced “Digital First” Batman as well as other “digital first” joints and the line-up alone may be able to persuade you.
Image Comics Publisher: We’re “Creating Some Of The Best Comics In History”, He’s F**king Right.
Eric Stephenson dropped some bold words today regarding his Image Comics, and I’m going to just go ahead and nod my head in affirmation.
Video: ALAN MOORE Calls Comic Industry “Gangsters”, Stay Smiley My Friend.
Alan Moore is back at it. I know that some people (specifically around these parts, and people I respect mind you) are tired of him lobbing bombs, but I enjoy it. In this interview, Moore details how Gibbons and he got jobbed when it came to the rights to Watchmen and more.

PETER PARKER and MILES MORALES To Meet In ‘SPIDER-MEN’. Oh Marvel.
Well, it’s happening. The Ultimate and 616 universes are somehow interacting, an event that Joe Quesada once said would only happen when Marvel was out of ideas. Which you know, makes it seem like perfect sense that its happening now.
Details and artwork after the jump.
JIM LEE ON A CAMEL.
…’cause why not? Here’s Jim Lee rocking out on a fucking camel on New Year’s Eve in the late 1990s.
ROB LIEFELD Slaps Down Hipsters By Drawing Feet. Well Played, Sir.
The DC solicitations for their July comics feature a disturbing trend: Rob Liefeld actually drawing feet. This occurrence across three of his covers is unfathomable even to his supporters like myself, who embrace his absolute lack of regard for human anatomy. Liefeld didn’t just stop there. He threw a pretty amusing quote-bomb upside his detractors’ skulls.
