Report: ‘Star Trek 4’ is shelved which is not the most gnarly thing, but alas
Not gonna lie! I’ve been silently lusting for Tarantino’s Star Trek. Not Star Trek 4. And yet, I’m rather bummed that the project has been shelved. Probably should have seen this coming though, right? Pine and Hemsworth both walked away last year over a contract dispute. Plus, Star Trek Beyond barely registered in the pop culture consciousness. That said, still kinda sucks.

From the trailers, it seems all over the goddamn place. Intergalactic epic. Buddy comedy. Captain America-esque? I’m, I’m not sure. I hope my concerns are misplaced.

Monday Morning Commute: We Got Too Fargo This Winter
The title is some shitty pun on the fact that we got too far to go this Winter, my dudes. Yeah, fuck me with a sideways plank, it’s brutal. But, what do you want out of me? I like Fargo, and I hate the Winter, and I’m just doing my best!
And man, do I fucking hate Winter. I used to stunt and pretend I enjoyed it. Alas, that fucking period has passed. Sure, sure, I enjoy the crisp air. And if the planet stopped melting for a moment to provide the Northeast with some snow, I’d enjoy too. But, what are the Lords currently offering me? Miserable, raw-ass rainy days and darkened evenings.
Anyways, how the fuck you doing? Me? I’m still in this liminal state between semesters. Where theoretically I’m on campus tutoring for the Winter session. However in reality? I’m staring at asses on Tumblr and writing up this wonderful little column.
It could be much, much worse, I admit. Plus, holy jizz cannoli, do I have a lot of things I’m currently enjoying.

Last night, HBO dropped a straight-up morsel of their upcoming Watchmen adaptation. It was part of a package of teasers that you can check out above. Is it a lot? Hell nah. Does it tickle my balls? Hell yeah.
Report: ‘The Batman’ could finally fucking begin filming in November. Does this do anything for you?
DC gotta be breathing a sigh of relief, right? After years of shitting all over themselves, they finally have two hits in Wonder Woman and Aquaman. That said, I’m sure they’d love to have their premiere character, Batman, finally knock it out of the park again. Will Matt Reeves and company be able to pull it off? I think so, but we won’t know until at least 2020.
