Preview Of Hickman and Ribic’s ‘Ultimates #1’ Makes Me Care About That Universe.
Last week I was totally going emo over the lack of care I had for Marvel’s Ultimate universe. Somewhere, despite having been aware of it, I didn’t recall this forthcoming gem. Jonathan Hickman writes my favorite titles for the Marvel Universe, and Esad Ribic’s work on Uncanny X-Force was some of the most glorious art I’d seen in many a fortnight. Put the two of them together on Ultimate Comics Ultimates #1 (worst title ever) and all of a sudden I’m rather stoked. Stoke-ified. Stoked through and through.

Christopher Meloni Elaborates On His Role In “Man of Steel.’
Christopher Meloni has opened up in a wonderfully vague way regarding his role in the next Superman cinema experience time. He starts by denying that he’ll be playing Lex Luthor, which reminded me of something. I hadn’t even thought of Luthor being in this movie, or who would play him.
Anyways.

Supreme Court Kills California Law Banning Violent Video Games.
Last November, the Supreme Court heard a case regarding video game sales in the state of California. It was kind of a big deal, possibly affecting how other forms of media were treated in regards to rules and regulations. Today the Supreme Court gave their decision, which smote the law with the power of a thousand Judicial Leg Drops.
At least that’s how it looks in my mind.

You have to love the amount of suck and sell-out that George Hotz contains within his flimsy nerd shell. This year he has gone from stunting and pretending to possess some sort of ideological spine by releasing the PS3 rootkey, to settling with Sony, to his most amazing development yet: landing a job with Facebook.

I love you, Hideo Kojima. Despite the fact that you haven’t made a game I’ve enjoyed in something like seven years, I love you. In the event that my love for you diminish, I’ll just look at these recent words of yours. Droppin’ knowledge bombs about the divide between Western and Japanese developers.
Mac From ‘Always Sunny’ Puts On 50 Pounds, For The Show. Swoon.
Rob McElhenney plays Mac on Always Sunny In Philadelphia. Next season, McElhenney will be an amazing 50lbs heavier, the sole reason thinking that it would be hilarious to have the bodybuilding-obsessive Mac walk around as a fat ass.
