Praise Be: ‘Lego Movie’ directors returning to write ‘Lego Movie 2’
The Lego Movie was goddamn fantastic. And while there are myriad reasons for the movie kicking ass, Phil Lord and Chris Miller are objectively 75% of those reasons. So the idea that they’re returning to write and produce the second one has me (once again improbably) excited for the flick.

Most of the articles covering this story are going with “LEGO Movie directors” in their headline. But I ain’t! I’m talking about the fucking Jump Street directors. Which, uh, are the same people. Chris Miller and Phil Lord. The two talented fuckers are once again teaming up, and this time they’re tackling The Greatest American Hero.

Man. Amazon’s already shitting on my lazy, entitled, complacent shitty life because of their beef with Hachette Books. I can’t fucking pre-order the new book in The Expanse! Fuck! Ya’ll forcing me to go to Barnes & Noble, and that’s some shit. But now they’re feuding with Warner Bros., and would-be buyers of LEGO Movie are paying the goddamn price.
