New ‘THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN’ Promo Art Pimps THE LIZARD. Sounds Slimey.

Yeah, The Lizard is the antagonist in the upcoming Amazing Spider-Man, no I don’t really give a shit. There’s new promo art that provided a look at said baddie, and I am equally unimpressed with this reveal.

‘THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN’ WonderCon Details: Emma Stone As Mary Jane And More.

Well then! There was some worthwhile fuzz to report from the Amazing Spider-Man panel at WonderCon.  Most notable is the fact that Emma Stone was originally brought in to play Mary Jane, before taking on the role of Gwen Stacy. Wait! – buh! It almost makes too much sense, since Stone is known for his red hair. Despite it being a dye job! A dye job! The horror.

Video: First Clip From ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ Is More Like ‘Blasé Peter Parker’

Rendar alerted me to the existence of this clip and told me it was good. I watched it, and asked him why it was good. He then said “well, it wasn’t bad”, to which I agreed. This raised the question, why would The Powers That Be use this clip from The Amazing Spider-Man? Eh!?

Who knows. Hit the jump to check it out.

‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2’ To Be Released In 2014. Really? Gracious.

I am currently suffering superhero movie fatigue. Like a son of a bitch. Despite this, I still see them. So while I cannot friggin’ believe they’re already announcing an Amazing Spider-Man 2 with the first one almost a year away, I also can. Because it’s going to make enough money to justify it. Because of sluts like me.

Spider-Man Reboot Gets An Official Title! Plus, New Promo Image.

Oh snap, the Spider-Man reboot has gotten its official title. Hold your breath! Ready? It’s going to be called The Amazing Spider-Man. Shocking? Sort of? Maybe? No? Predictable? None of those responses would surprise me.

It’s amazing that with all the Parker rage going on here at OL from myself and others, I’m eagerly anticipating the flick. I dug Webb’s 500 Days, and Garfield’s performance in the Social Network sold me as well. I’m certain that whatever apathy I have regarding the franchise as a whole won’t prohibit me from giving the reboot a fair chance.

Hit the jump for the promo image they dropped at the time of the announcement.

Blurry Set-Photo of Spider-Man Running Through ‘NYC’ Streets.

Oh my gosh! Would you believe this shit? There’s a blurry picture from the Spider-Man set. It’s someone (no clue if its Garfield or a stuntman) bombing around what is supposed to be the streets of New York City. Do I get any sort of meta-cred for admitting I’m posting this, but knowing I’m a douchebag for posting such an absurd thing?

No? Fuck.

Hit the jump for the full picture, and some other set-photos bullshit.
