Interesting. Here are a bunch of viral videos for Agents of SHIELD. They’re neat enough. What is intriguing about them however is that they raise the question of when the show takes place. Many a person has speculated that Coulson is actually dead, and the television show takes place prior to Avengers. These videos could corroborate such a belief. I mean, the Hulk is a “real life creature” being investigated? Seeing Iron Man on film a big deal? Motherfuckers are both wayyy out in open by the time of the Avengers credits roll.

JACK BAUER AND ’24’ RETURNING TO FOX. Torture Porn Addicts Moan.
I didn’t see this coming. It looks like everyone’s favorite utilitarian torture export and post 9/11 wunder-hero is returning to television. Kiefer Sutherland will be dusting off the heavy artillery and reprising his role as Jack Bauer next year, as 24 returns for a twelve-episode journey.
Petition wants EDMONTON to BUILD A WOLVERINE STATUE. I say why not.
There is a petition going around that is asking Edmonton to build a Wolverine status. Specifically, a 1,000 foot tall one. Me? I say why the fuck not. Lord knows walking around my campus I come across more ludicrous works of modern art. Sure they probably didn’t cost as much as this one will. Sure! But this is Wolverine. The Wolverine.

‘MARVEL’S AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.’ PROMO #1: Coulson and friends GET WEIRD
Here is a fairly unexciting debut trailer for ABC’s Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD. You have Coulson (and while it is antithetical to say, I don’t really care about him) and friends tackling strange events and stuff. My guess? Superhero procedural. I’ll be there, even if I am fairly apathetic towards this first glimpse.

In case you missed it, it was recently announced that Rocky: the Musical, the tuneful reimagining of the Oscar-winning film and current hit in Germany, will be coming to Broadway in the near future. A brainchild of none other than Sylvester Stallone, the production transports the classic boxing story from the screen to the stage, to a genre whose aim is to not only capture the eyes of the audience, but their ears as well (without the need to cast Mike Tyson). So American audiences will soon have the opportunity to do more than just cheer on their favorite all-American underdog; they will be able to sing along with the prized pugilist, lyric for mumbled lyric.
