More Pictures Of The ‘Wii U’ Controller. Tabletized!

Here’s some more looks at the Wii U controller, which is all sorts of bananas. While I wasn’t totally down with the Nintendo conference since you know, they showed no fucking games, the controller itself is super swank time. To me at least.

NGP Officially Titled ‘PlayStation Vita’, Will Cost $250.

Do you use handheld video game wunder-devices? I don’t. But the next Sony handheld is tempting me. It’s powerful like a sumbitch, it’s going to feature fucking Uncharted and BioShock titles, and it’s not going to cost very much at all. Tempting. So tempting.

Assassin’s Creed: Revelations’ E3 Trailer Proves Ezio Ages Like A Boss.

I’ve only played Assassin’s Creed II. Didn’t play the original, heard it was ass. Loved the sequel. Brotherhood came out in the teeth of the gaming schedule, and I couldn’t afford it. Since then, I’ve been staring at it used on Amazon for $30, with everyone telling me “AC: Brotherhood is like the second one, but better in every way.”

I need it, and I especially need it after watching this trailer for the conclusion to Ezio’s tale.

‘BioShock Infinite’ E3 Trailer Is Outstanding. No Puns.

Oh boy. The trailer for BioShock Infinite just karate-chopped every other reveal trailer I’ve seen in the neck. It may be a fatal chop. The medics are looking over the victims now. The best part? It’s purely gorgeous gameplay, which is executed with a fluidity and rapidity that wasn’t there in the original. We’ll get all of this, and what is assuredly a storyline built to milk the philosophical glands of all us thinking geeks.

Two ‘Uncharted 3’ E3 Trailers. November Is Far Away. Far.

I’m really feeling this year’s E3. Through some fortuitous bending of universal whims, a lot of my favorite franchises are getting reveals at the same time. One of them happens to be Uncharted 3!, with both an E3 reveal trailer as well as a gameplay walkthrough. What a blessed series. No, seriously. I love Indiana Drake, or Nathan Jones, or whatever you want to call him.

Xbox Live Is Getting Cloud Storage For Saved Games and ‘Beacons.’

When it was announced that PS3 was getting cloud storage for saved games, I was all, ‘that’s dope, but not worth paying for.’ Well now it’s coming to XBL, and the good news is this: I’m already paying for it. Maybe like a dummy, but it’s all gravy! Cloud-based saved games was just one part of an assload of new features for XBL, including ‘Beacons.’
