Joel Kinnaman cast as lead in ‘Altered Carbon’ adaptation for Netflix
A big question regarding the upcoming Altered Carbon adaptation for Netflix: how are they going to handle a series where the main character is constantly switching bodies (or as they’re called, sleeves)? I’m not sure. Especially if they go big name with the initial casting, which they have (sort of) done, casting Joel Kinnaman as Kovacs.

Bryan Cranston and Battlestar‘s own Ronald D. Moore are teaming up to bring a PKD anthology series to the televisor-screens. What a weird combo! I’ll take it. What a weird concept! I’ll take it.
New ‘Star Trek’ series is airing weekly in 2017 on CBS’ streaming service
Great. Just what we need. Another streaming service. CBS got their own, and they’re bringing Star Trek back on it. I feel like we’ve known this for a bit, but I suppose this is confirmation.
Palahniuk’s ‘Snuff’ becoming TV series
Chuck’s book about a woman trying to break the gangbang record (and die from it, I think? I haven’t read it in so long) is coming to TV. Uh. Somehow.
‘Punisher’ show confirmed for Netflix, here’s a teaser video
Netflix has done the obvious and ordered a full Punisher series. I fucking hope so, since the character was shoehorned as fuck into the end of Daredevil‘s second season. I mean, his presence in the season finale. Jesus Christ. Woof. But that said, I dug the character, and I look forward to more.
