‘BREAKING BAD’ FINAL SEASON TRAILER: You’re Goddamn Right
Oh boy. This is a trailer for Breaking Bad‘s final season composed out of the glorious moments from seasons prior. What a fucking trip this show has been. An unrelenting descent into hubris, drugs, and funny looking hats. I don’t think there is anything currently running on television that’ll fit this show’s place in my rotting core once it ends, but perhaps that is a testament to its quality. More than anything else.
‘AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.’ gets a PREMIERE DATE. Prepare for AUTUMNAL AGENCY.

Fuck yeah! Fall is typically my favorite season. Take the weather, combine with football (I am a generic American male, bred to appreciate thinly-veiled homoeroticism), and now we can add in a dash of SHIELD. ABC has revealed that the clunky-titled spin-off of Avengers will be dropping in September. Which — I know that means it isn’t Fall — is close enough to Autumn for me.
THREE ‘BREAKING BAD’ SEASON 5 CHARACTER TEASERS: Hank is Fast & Furious
Hoooooo boy. Here are some really brief, really arousing character teasers for the final season of Breaking Bad. Hank is totally Fast & Furious. Totally Drive Angry up in the fucking joint.
I can’t wait for this.
BEAR MCCREARY is the composer for ‘AGENTS OF SHIELD.’ FRAK YES.
Oh baby. Bear McCreary is joining the production of Agents of SHIELD, bringing his compositional wizardry to the show. McCreary was the composer for Battlestar Galactica, which stands somewhere between “My favorite show of all time” and “My favorite thing of all time.” These balls tighten.
Report: Netflix in talks for ‘ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT’ SEASON 5
There may be more Arrested Development coming down the pipes, folks. And even to someone like me who was lukewarm (but still amused) by the fourth season gets a little tingle in his taint-hole thinking about another season.
GEORGE R.R. MARTIN reveals what the IRON THRONE REALLY looks like in his DOME PIECE.
Completely impractical for television but none the less gorgeous, George R. R. Martin has revealed what the Iron Throne looks like in his sludgy dome piece. Impression? It’s fucking stunning.
‘BREAKING BAD’ SPIN-OFF, ‘BETTER CALL SAUL’ is like SERIOUSLY HAPPENING
Oh doubters. I’m namely speaking about myself. All you doubters thought that a Breaking Bad spin-off starring Saul was merely the blatherings of intrigued creators. Well you (me!) are looking more and more wrong by the passing moment.
THIS WEEK on Game of Thrones: “Mysha”
There’s a lot of mixed reaction to this finale on the web. After a kick in the nuts right off the bat with the aftermath of the Red Wedding massacre, the final episode of this season of Thrones brings things down a notch to a very steadily paced character piece. Longer, drawn out conversations between sometimes-unlikely pairs of characters round off the episode before ending on a strange note of Disney-esque triumph, instead of the standard game-changing fare that past finales of Thrones have employed.
More than ever, it’s palpable just how constrained the show feels by its 10-episode limit every season. There’s barely enough time in this extended finale to visit every character just once or twice and quickly touch base to set things up for Season 4.
The back half of Martin’s third novel, a Storm of Swords, will likely serve as the backbone for Season 4, while elements from later books are already creeping into the show all over the place. It’s difficult now to even decide ‘where’ in the book we are at this point; every story has stopped someplace different. It’s become a truly fascinating experience to watch how things are adapted, and if Season 3 was a good indication, the rules are quickly becoming loose with the adaptation of the rest of the saga.
New ‘AGENTS OF SHIELD’ PROMO FEATURES THINGS.
Hey, it’s a new promo for Agents of SHIELD. It’s really short. Doesn’t feature much. However, it’s pretty neat that this show exists. A couple of days ago I mentioned to my Dad that Coulson lived, and he’d be on the TV show. Goddamn blew his ass out. Couldn’t believe we were getting a TV show from the Avengers movie. It served as a reminder that the entire enterprise is pretty cool.
‘BREAKING BAD’ POSTERS by Francesco Francavilla are so dope they (CHEMICAL) BURN.
