‘Star Wars: Episode VIII’ pushed back to December 15, 2017
Those of us like me who have been counting down to Episode VIII are going to need to add a couple hundred days to the counter. The sequel to The Force Awakens has been pushed back from May to December of 2017. Me? I’m fine with this for a couple of reasons. First off: give the people involved the most time possible to put out the highest quality product. Second off: having Star Wars hitting around Christmas time every year makes an already special season glow just a bit more. So hey. I’m not particularly devastated. It will make its arrival just that much sweeter.

AstronomerWizards, using their WizardryMathematics, have apparently (maybe) found a ninth planet in our solar system. One way out past Pluto, which orbits the sun every 15,000 years.
(Fave) Cyberpunk novel ‘Altered Carbon’ is becoming Netflix series
Holy fuck. Altered Carbon is one of my favorite novels of the last…ten years? Cyberpunk detective noir? (Which may be redundant?) And now it appears that the novel is becoming a television series courtesy of Netflix.

Man. I’m not going to lie to you. This trailer has me pretty excited for this film. Like. Man. I don’t know. Seems out of its futzing mind, in all the right ways. At the very least it seems decidedly different fare.
Marvel announces Steve Rogers is returning as ‘Captain America’
Steve Rogers ceded the mantle of Captain America to his friend Sam Wilson back in…2014? And now it looks like his friend Wilson isn’t exactly handing Steve back the mantle. More like, sharing it the title? But not the shield!
Maybe: Marvel bringing ‘Punisher’ series to Netflix
Punisher hasn’t even debuted on Daredevil yet, but the sociopathic vigilante is already a favorite on the NetterWebs. Marvel ain’t deaf to the fervor the character is generating, and apparently they may be giving BigPun his own series. A rumor broke-out over the weekend that they totally were, but Netflix’s Chief Content Czar has responded with a totally maybe okay chill. My interpretation? It’s coming. But down the line.
