‘Green Room’ Red Band Trailer: Punk Band versus Nazi Patrick Stewart
So. This trailer is damn old. And despite really liking it, I didn’t post it. Which explains why our own Eduardo Pluto hasn’t seen it. Yeah, I’m ignoring the fact that he probably only comes here when I link him, because he’s swine and I suck. But yeah! So this looks fucking bonkers. Patrick Stewart as a Nazi, versus Punks. It’s, it’s incredible.
SpaceX has successfully landed their Falcon 9 Rocket on a floating Drone Ship
Hey! Maybe our space-exploration possibilities aren’t completely hopeless. I mean, sure, it’s just going to be our Corporate OverLords leaving this Rock, to colonize space after they’re done strip mining this place. But it’ll feel good knowing some of us are out there…right?
No Duh: Marvel Studios Characters appearing in New ‘Spider-Man’ Movie
I thought this was already confirmed, back when Marvel Studios and Sony announced they had brokered a deal? But hey. If it wasn’t confirmed, or if you missed it, here is the news, now double-confirmed.
Weekend Open Bar: Living Life On Bradbury Hill
Man, we got Presidential candidates debating dusty tomes from days of yore and their dick sizes. Man, they’re doing that while we got the entire universe to explore. Man, we got people vigorously arguing over the quality of men in tights and their moving picture shows. Man, they’re doing that while the Cosmos offers us escape. While the Cosmos offers us resources. While the Cosmos offers us Hope.
‘Edge of Tomorrow’ Sequel is moving forward, Doug Liman directing
I enjoyed Edge of Tomorrow, but it was my no means a runaway success. That said, I’m excited that it is getting a sequel, even if I have no idea what the fuck it it will look like.
‘Kingsman: The Golden Circle’ teases return of Colin Firth’s (seemingly dead) character
My wife loved Kingsman. I thought it was okay. But like pretty much everyone else, I enjoyed Colin Firth’s performance in the film. The fact that he was straight mirked in the film made me think he was done. But where there is fan appeal, there is a way!
Netflix picks up Adam Wingard’s (‘The Guest’) ‘Death Note live action-adaptation, after its dropped by Warner Bros.
I know that Death Note is an anime. That’s all I really know about it. Now I know it’s getting a live-action adaptation. Normally this wouldn’t get me too excited, however the project is being helmed by Adam Wingard. Dude directed both You’re Next and The Guest, both of which have fucking titillated me. So good going, Netflix. Snagging a project from a pretty talented indie director. I’m in! All in.
