I’m down for any sort of post-apocalyptic movie, I think. Even if it’s based off of a promising-but-initially-fundamentally-flawed game like The Division. However, even more importantly, I’m more than ready to fuck with anything David Leitch is directing.

My brother calls Steve Spielberg a “creative coward” these days. I won’t go that far, but I have been generally bored with him for the past decade. So, this news doesn’t move the needle for me. I mean, he ain’t Jaws Spielberg anymore. He’s CGI diarrhea Ready Player One Spielberg. Who knows, maybe he stuns the hair off the my tits with this effort. One can hope.

Of course, of course Amazon is developing the only Willam Gibson novel I haven’t read into a TV series. But, maybe that’s a good thing for me. Maybe I should pass on reading this one, just this one, and take the adaptation as its own entity.
