F. Gary Gray (‘Straight Outta Compton’) expected to direct ‘Furious 8’
I haven’t seen Straight Outta Compton, but — it’s supposed to be a dope movie. So I’m glad that its director is expected to handle the next Furious flick. A hell of an upgrade from previous rumors — Vinny D himself, or the director of the first F&F movie.

Maybe: Vin Diesel announced that an ‘Iron Giant’ sequel is happening
Vin Diesel likes to shoot his mouth off. Dude has been teasing an expanded role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe for what — years at this point? And still. Nothing outside of Groot. So take this with a spoonful of salt. The Bald Beautiful Bastard maybe kind of/sort of announced that an Iron Giant sequel will be happening.

Vin Diesel’s xXx is (sadly) the only movie I can think of where a guy outruns an avalanche by doing sweet stuff on a snowboard. It is an impressive addition to our collection of pop culture artifacts, and I can only imagine a sequel to a movie that brought us such a scene will also deliver.

Vin Diesel. Continues teasing his involvement in Inhumans. The latest is a pretty fucking egregious Facebook message and image. Like either he’s lost his mind and is trying to pressure Marvel into giving him the role, or they’re just letting him run the movie’s Hype Machine for a bit.
