#April2012

‘CAPTAIN AMERICA’ Sequel Announced For April 2014.

Provided that the world doesn’t end in December (it’s going to, fuck science and fuck you too), Marvel is going to continue churning out installments of the comic-book-movie-industrial-complex. Hope you’re not sick of the flicks, cause they’re lined up for years, and years, and years. The latest joint to get an official sequel release date is Captain America: Fucking Silly Poses.

Watch Joe Quesada show You How To Draw THE HULK In This ‘Master Class’ Video

Back in the day when he wasn’t running what feels like the entire goddamn Marvel Enterprise, Joe Quesada was an artist. A damn fine one, too. His work on Daredevil  during the Kevin Smith run was some of my favorite artwork during those early teen years of mine. Throughout the years as he has inherited more and more responsibility, Dude Quesada’s artwork has taken a back seat. Riffing on a segment that’s part of  Disney XD’s Marvel Universe programming block called “Master Class”, Quesada shows us how to draw the Hulk, while also showing off his radical skills.

Marvel Continues Teasing Possible ‘ULTIMATE’ Crossover In New ‘SPIDER-MEN’ Promo. 616-U?

Marvel continues to tease the tip when it comes to some sort of crossover involving both Peter Parker and the Spider-Man of their Ultimate universe. I can’t recall a time when they’ve riffed on this sort of interaction between the two universes, but if they’re going to do it they might as well do it with their best character. Yeah, that’s right. Miles Morales.

New ‘AVENGERS’ Pics Are Busty, Brooding, Smokey. FLAWLESS.

Oh hell yeah! Someone has delved into the Nethers and uncorked the Avengers  Hype Machine. It’s showering us with promotional images, though most of them are just the gorgeous crew looking gorgeous if not a bit angsty. This newest batch is more of the same, with a bit of a Black Window push-up bra stylee.

NEW ‘AVENGERS’ PICS: Cause Posing And Brooding Is Always Awesome

If there is one thing that is defining the marketing campaign for the Avengers  flick, especially when it pertains to the pics released, it is a whole bunch of attractive people doing nothing. Just sitting. Brooding. Flexing. Boring. Don’t get me wrong I’m jazzed to the tits about the movie, but these pictures are equally boring and hilarious.

Hit the jump to bask in the banality.

CYCLOPS And CAPTAIN AMERICA Staredown In Amazingly Awful ‘AVENGERS VS. X-MEN #2’ Teaser.

I haven’t been covering the endless teasers for Avengers Vs. X-Men, but I had to post this one for two seconds. First off, there’s no way that Cyclops could hang with Captain America. Secondly, it features the best/worst tagline ever somehow deemed worthy of being put on a promo.

Hit the jump to check it out.

Marvel Announces DIGITAL-ONLY ‘Infinite Comics’ Imprint. Shots Fired!

At SXSW, Marvel unveiled its “ReEvolution”  initiative. Brief aside: who the fuck is naming things at Marvel right now? They all sound like B-SIDES of all the already awful  Final Fantasy descriptors. Anyways. Moving along. The most striking part of this new movement is the announcement of a digital-only  line of comics. Welcome to the future?
