‘Maniac’ Teaser: Emma Stone and Jonah Hill got a Multiversal Connection in Fukunaga’s limited series
Not even watching this teaser, friends. Just sharing it in case you’re inclined. Why ain’t I? ‘Cause I’m already three-thousand-fucking-percent sold on this limited series from Cary Fukunaga.
I don’t give a fuck, I love this idea. Namely, because the Jump Street series has spent its life ridiculing its own existence and thereby making said existence really fun to watch.
Netflix has continued their relationship with Cary Fukunaga, picking up the director’s adaptation of Norwegian TV series Maniac starring Emma Stone and Jonah Hill. I’m ready for this. Super ready.

Yup. Yup, I’m ready for this movie.
The only thing more egregious than a reboot-remake-rething movie? One of those movies that is so successful that it generates a sequel. I loved the original 21 Jump Street with Tatum and Hill. I’m hoping the sequel will be self-aware enough to govern the film over the standard sequel-based hazards.
Hit the jump for the trailer.
Ever since the trailer for Django Unchained dropped, I’ve been riding a bulge of enthusiasm for the flick that is half-part awesome, half-part uncomfortable. Even Jonah Hill and his tired schtick couldn’t depsyche me.
