‘Straight Outta Compton’ director is developing a ‘Saints Row’ movie. Get weird, or get out, IMO.
I fuck heavy with Saints Row. However, I really fuck heavy with the third and fourth installments of the franchise. This is when it began to, uh, lose its fucking mind. Therefore, I guess I’m theoretically excited for a Row flick? But, only if it’s got the self-awareness and mania that the latter installments brought.

Michael B. Jordan as Boba Fett? Listen — I get it — Boba Fett is supposed to be some annoying ass New Zealand kid or something. Michael B. Jordan decidedly is not. But he’s a great fucking actor, and that’s what I want in my SWU. Great fucking actors. (And I mean, is this even going to come to fruition? I doubt it.)
F. Gary Gray (‘Straight Outta Compton’) expected to direct ‘Furious 8’
I haven’t seen Straight Outta Compton, but — it’s supposed to be a dope movie. So I’m glad that its director is expected to handle the next Furious flick. A hell of an upgrade from previous rumors — Vinny D himself, or the director of the first F&F movie.
‘CAPTAIN AMERICA 2’ Potential Directors Down To Four. Keep The Machine Going!
Marvel has this thing they do, where if there’s a moderately enjoyable film of theirs, they manage to squeeze the director out of the chair. This is in contrast to paying them what they deserve, or giving them the control they probably earned. Captain America 2 is getting going, and the director who made the flick isn’t even on the potential list of minds to helm the sequel.
