Wes Craven has passed away at the age of 76, after a battle with brain cancer. What a goddamn bummer. The man is behind some of the greatest horror movies of all time, and certainly the inspiration for countless great ones to come. Let us remember the lad well. What was your favorite movie of his?

I’m selfishly happy about this one. I wasn’t sure if I was going to have a gaming PC up and running by the time XCOM 2 dropped this Fall. Or if I would have the time in my gaming schedule to accomodate the title. But February of next year? Sign me the fuck up! Sorry to those of you who are saddened by this news. I feel you, I’m just not like, you know, with you.
‘The Shield’ is getting remastered in 4K widescreen
Sometimes I forget about how much I fucking loved The Shield. Before Breaking Bad, before Justified, before Mr. Robot, this show was the one that produced white-knuckled, ass-clenching tension in me. And now it’s being remastered in 4K widescreen, which is optimal reason to selfishly watch it again show it to my wife!
