Ta-Nehisi Coates is the new writer for Marvel’s ‘Black Panther’
I got Ta-Nehisi Coates’s latest book, Between The World And Me saved in my “To Read” list on Good Reads. But it appears that even if I don’t get around to that soon, the writer and I may be crossing paths. Seemingly unexpectedly. In the funny book stands (?!?!).
Netflix CEO: All TV Will Be On The Internet In Twenty Years
Shit is going onto the internet, yo. All of the television materials will be for you to download through the bandwidth pipes. That is, if you believe the CEO of Netflix. Me? I kind of, I kind of do.
Drew Karpyshyn, writer of the original ‘Mass Effect’, has returned to BioWare
Welcome back, Drew Karpyshyn! You are the writer of the original Mass Effect, and a lad who had spent a long time with BioWare. You wandered off, and realized how good you had it at your former employer. Now you’ve returned. Wizened. Grateful. Homesick. Us BioWare fans are happy to have you back, too.
Views From The Space-Ship: Her Name Is Lucy Omega
Welcome, comrades. Welcome to another edition of View From The Space-Ship. The column where I collate (usually, just egregiously embedding from my instagram) the various views of the world I’ve shared in a given week. I’m a giver, but I also like to receive, though. Oh do I like to receive! So if you’re inclined, share your own world in the comments section. This week? This week it’s pretty much ALL PUPPY all the TIME. Sam Omega and I have spent a week housebreaking her, worshipping her, petting her, and generally sleeping very little and worrying very much. Her name is Lucy Omega. Also known as SheWolf. Also known as SnowBeast.
Leaked: ‘BioShock’ Collection for PS4 and Xbox One
Maybe. This is a definite *maybe* not a certain *true*, but it looks like BioShock may be getting a next-gen collection. Which I will buy. For BioShock only. That’s enough for me to enjoy. The other two can pound-sand-and-eat-grass.
‘Star Wars’ Theatrical Cuts going to be re-released on Blu-Ray, according to John Landis
Ah. It’s that time again. That time where that shitty rumor comes out, getting me all excited. Cheeks flushed. Scrotum tightened. Heart palpitating. Despite said rumor hitting often, and delivering never. You know of what I speak. The whole “the Star Wars trilogy’s theatrical cuts are going to be re-released!” bullshit. And here’s the rumor. Again. This time being substantiated because it comes from John Landis? I guess?
