‘Midnight Special’ Trailer: Nichols Channels Spielberg for Our Benefit
I can’t really figure out what Midnight Special is about. It’s like, Jeff Nichols doing something very Spielberg-esque. Beyond that, though, I have no idea regarding the movie’s plot. I think I’m okay with this.
Fans are remaking ‘Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic’
Apparently fans are doing what no one at BioWare (or a third-party BioWare could whore the project out to) seems interested in doing: remaking Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. I mean, it seems like a license to print money. Doesn’t it? But hey — these folk are doing it on the free.
Rumor: Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury returning for ‘Thor: Ragnarok’
Sam Jackson only has two movies left on his Marvel contract, and yet. And yet, there are rumors that he’ll be appearing in Thor: Ragnarok. This news means, at least to me, that he’s going to be getting himself a contract-extension. I mean, right? Otherwise, they’re burning up one of his last two appearances on a Thor flick? (Don’t get me wrong, cool news and all.)
‘Daredevil’ Season 2 Trailer: I Think You’re A Half-Measure
Oh god, am I ever ready to see The Punisher and Daredevil square-off, and then maybe ultimately unite to bring down some Hell’s Kitchen scum.
‘Star Wars: Episode VIII’ Production Teaser: Cut, Beautiful
This is where we are, regarding the insanity that is Star Wars. A teaser announcing the production for the next movie. And like, it’s probably obvious (given that I’ve seen The Force Awakens six times), but I’m all about it. Oh! The LordsofHype at DisneyStarFlick have also provided an official cast announcement.
‘Game of Thrones’ Season 6 Teaser: Jon Snow In The Hall of Faces
TrollGame++ at this point, right?

It’s Weekend Open Bar! Let’s kick this off. With alacrity! The weekly column where the reckless degenerates and-or savory, wonderful souls of Space-Ship Omega gather. Holding hands, holding eye contact, we discuss with vim and vigor our Weekend Plans.
‘Fallout 4’ Ramen Is Now A Real Thing
I fuck with this promotional stunt from Bethesda. The company has brought the ramen from the noodle-shop running robot Takahashi in Diamond City to life. I don’t know if this is objectively cool, or if I’m just so partial to Fallout 4 that I’ll eat (HA, FUCKING PUN) anything up from the game.
‘Call of Duty’ 2016 being developed by Infinity Ward; here’s hoping it sucks less than ‘Ghosts’
Man. Infinity Ward gave me my favorite Call of Duty way back in the day with Modern Warfare 2. They also provided my least favorite (after like, the entire team or some shit, left for Respawn) in Ghosts. Here is hoping the three-year development cycle is kind to them and whatever they’re bringing this year.
