Weekend Open Bar: Across the 8th Dimension
(Note: I started writing this Friday. It is now Saturday. I apologize. Life, man.)
I’m very excited for this weekend. It’s totally not because I popped a Sudafed for my allergies and it has slicked the synapses of reality, allowing me to glide across Existence with nary a care! I mean, how can you not be excited when it’s the weekend! And the stimulants in your blood tell you Everything Is Okay and Things Will Be Fun This Weekend!? Fuck, Sudafed! Mi amor! Mi amor!
This is Weekend Open Bar! Pop whatever sort of chemical into your bloodstream you want, and come hang out! Pop whatever sort of food into your stomach you want, and come hang out! Pop pop pop! Whatever you want! Everything is allowed, save for snark and bite. We keep it positive here, folks.
Marvel pulls ‘Inhumans’ movie from its release schedule
Remember last year when there were rumors abound at NYCC that Marvel had killed the Inhumans movie? Well, it is looking more and more likely that there was some substance to those rumors. If the movie is ever going to come, and I’m doubtful, at the very least we have no idea when it shall.
Microsoft has ended ‘Xbox 360’ production; fare thee well
It is with somber tones, ashen eyes, and a strained sadness that I announce that the Xbox 360 has ceased production. Man, my Xbox 360 and me spent some serious fucking time together. Or rather, my three Xbox 360s and me spent some serious fucking time together. From Gears to the Mass Effect series to Fallout 3, I probably chalked up thousands of hours of my twenty-somethings on Microsoft’s sophomore console.
‘The Magnificent Seven’ Trailer: I seek righteousness. But I’ll take revenge.
I had no idea that The Magnificent Seven was being remade. But is is! And here is a trailer for it. Being remade. Remake and reconstitute everything for fun and profit in the lottery of Hollywood Life! (Seriously, though, I don’t know, could be cool!)
Hasbro’s Cinematic Universe has a Writers Room including Brian K. Vaughan, Nicole Perlman, and more
Listen, does Hasbro need a cinematic universe? Fucking of course not! But, does their assembling of an absurd of amount of talent to bring this universe to life get me intrigued? Fucking of course!
Robert Downey Jr. appearing in ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’
Consummate fuccboi and proponent for extensive government regulations Tony Stark will be in Spider-Man: Homecoming. I think we have all sort of expected this, but now it is confirmed.
Rumor: ‘Wolverine 3’ featuring X-23, the “All-New Wolverine” from the comics
Looks like X-23 is coming to the big screen, friends. I don’t really have any intimate knowledge of the character, but I dig the idea. Especially if Jackman is bowing out. This gives a way to keep “Wolverine” in the movies, without Jackman, or recasting.
‘Mr. Robot’ Season 2 Teaser Trailer: Other Battles To Fight, Starting July 13th
OH YOU KNOW I’M HYPED for Mr. Robot and its second season. So goddamn hyped!
