iCade 8-Bitty Is Your iOS Device’s NES Controller. Sexy Excess.
iCade got themselves a big ole line of iOS device controllers. I ain’t got none of them. Want even less of them. Don’t need them! If I ever crack and decide I need to play NES games on my iPhone though, I’ll be snagging an 8-Bitty. While hating myself.

Trailer: Alan Wake’s ‘American Nightmare’ Is Groovy Horror Awesome.
Last week I beat Alan Wake and all of its DLC. Fucking love it. Thankfully for me, new Wakeness drops next week in the form of new-content-but-not-a-sequel on XBLA. Remedy has released a trailer for it, and well. It’s fucking awesome. I know a lot of my friends didn’t care for Sir Alan, but I have a feeling if they knuckled through the first average hour or so, they’d embrace its inner Silent Hill meets Eternal Darkness meets the video game equivalent of awesome novel House of Leaves-ness.
(It’s one of my favorites of this generation now. I’m done proselytizing.)

You can’t play Bastion without secretly lamenting that you can have its narrator follow you through your adventures and give your existence some zest. This video takes said narrator and lays it over a Skyrim experience for maximum awesomeosity.
Master Chief Design From ‘Halo 4’ Revealed By…Action Figure.
Much like the Avengers’ villain, the Master Chief we’ll be controlling in Halo 4 has been revealed in toy form. Have to love conventions, and marketing blasts, and data download hyper-pipes. I made up one of those things. Anyways.

‘Mass Effect’ Goes ‘Final Fantasy 7’ With Sexy Low-Poly Models.
Polycount forum user Nix has created a set of low-polygon Mass Effect models. It’s a smash-up of my favorite game ever, and possibly my favorite franchise this generation. Hell yes.
Rumor: ‘Xbox 720’ To Have HD Touchscreen Controller. SO MUCH GIMMICK.
When I think of a new Xbox, my groin swells and I get lightheaded. Xbot!, reporting for duty. Newest rumor? Microsoft is seeing Nintendo a Kinect, and raising them a new touchscreen controller.
Video: Subway Super Mario Bros. Lightens The Commute
Gypsy Joe Trane laid down some classic Super Mario Bros. riffage on the R-train heading towards Manhattan, inspiring a sullen-looking appreciation from all the passengers aboard. Me? I would have been inappropriately booty-popping writhing on the nostalgia python.

Concept Artist For ‘Fallout 3’ & ‘Skyrim’ Has Passed Away. Salute!
The conceptual mind behind the glory that is Fallout 3 and Skyrim’s concept art passed away this week. While I love Skyrim something fierce, Fallout 3 snatch-and-grabbed a big part of my heart this generation, in no small part to its gorgeous art and design. Adam Adamowicz was a driving force behind it, and so I salute the good lad’s contributions and wish him well in his return to cosmic matter.

WoW Sheds Another 100,000 Subscribes. Drops In A Bucket Add Up Eventually, No?
WoW has an unfathomable amount of subscribers, but the MMO to End All MMOs continues to shed them like a colonic-and-amphetamine-powered winter weight loss program. Or something. It makes sense to me.
