Mondo Drops More ‘AVENGERS’ Posters. They’re Are HAWT As Expected.
Mondo’s posters are the works of throbbing lore. They’ve revealed posters for Avengers, and they are full of the win you’d expect. A bit shocked that an under-the-radar movie like this near-Focus Feature drew their attention, but silently glad it did.

FIRST LOOK: Leonardo DiCaprio, Jamie Foxx, and Christoph Waltz In ‘DJANGO UNCHAINED’
Hell yeah. We have our first official look at the chaps from Django Unchained, and my tits are titillated. I still can’t believe that on top of all the nerdery dropping this year we are also getting new Tarantino.
‘DARK KNIGHT RISES’ – They Fixed BANE’S VOICE & New Images

Here are some Dark Knight Rises goodies upside your dome. Totally new pictures!, plus confirmation that they’ve fixed Bane’s voice.
HEADHUNTERS: Nordic Thriller Is Like a Vice Grip to the Throat
There was only one film I didn’t make it into at Fantastic Fest last year: the Nordic thriller Headhunters. Even with a press pass, I was left to bleed in the stand-by line. I ended up seeing a Japanese musical-pink film about a cheeky, mythical sea turtle – so, win-win in my book. Graciously, the Florida Film Fest recently screened Headhunters – so I was redeemed. And I was floored. Based on Norwegian crime writer Jo Nesbø‘s novel of the same name, Headhunters is an expertly crafted crime thriller that doesn’t rest on any genre crutches and presents a stylistic, complex look at the well-worn subjects of revenge, insatiable greed, and devotion.
PIXAR Unveils 2013-15 Schedule: DINOSAURS & Mexican Holidays!
Pixar shed some light on their schedule for the next few years a couple of nights ago at CinemaCon. I hadn’t heard of half this shit, but I’m particularly curious about the project that’s way out. Wayyyyyy out! We’re talking 2015.
Pixar’s ‘BRAVE’ OFFICIAL TRAILER #4: Nipple Twisters (Yes) & Gorgeous Hair
I don’t know what to make of Brave. On some level I know it’s going to be enjoyable. For certain. Yet trailer after trailer arrives, and I don’t feel anything after watching them. How about you folks? Digging it? Figuring you will dig it?
Watch the trailer and let me know what you think.
Frank Quitely’s Cover To ‘BATMAN INCORPORATED #1’ Is Sexy Rodent Time.
I’ve been quite enjoying the segue from Grant Morrison to Scott Snyder on Batman proper in this post-Flashthing world, so I’m anxious to see how the two of them compliment one another. Whatever the case, I’m totally stoked for another round of Frank Quitely penciling the rodent.
Peter Jackson’s 48fps Preview of ‘THE HOBBIT’ UNDERWHELMS. At Best. Gulp.
Peter Jackson has previewed ten-minutes of The Hobbit for a gaggle of lucky-enoughs, and the results haven’t been very positive. In fact, most found the footage underwhelming. What is really concerning are the reactions by the viewers to the film’s usage of 48fps, which has some pulling out pubes and screaming to the Heavens.
‘G.I. JOE RETALIATION’ THEATRICAL TRAILER: Guns, Swords, Quips.
Here’s the trailer for G.I. Joe Retaliation. Nothing gets me totally amped up for global spending on war and defense like a pack of gorgeous hard bodies making bloodshed and warfare seem so fucking sexy.
‘AVENGERS’ Assembled At TARGET Out Of Consumer Nonsense
One of the great things about Target is that you can walk out of the joint having spent $200 on absolutely nothing. A shitty DVD, some razors, an action figure, jelly beans, Diet Dew, and all of a sudden you’re poor. Riffing on this idea that the establishment truly is a Palace for Mindless Crap is this Avengers advertising campaign. The Avengers! Built from nonsense! For a spectacle movie. It all comes together.
