Bret Webster took a gorgeous photo of our Milky Way galaxy hanging out above a raging monsoon at  Canyonlands National Park. It’s one of those tit-tightening reminders that we’re at all times we are within a galaxy, orbiting the center of the universe. Astounding.

Well then! There was some worthwhile fuzz to report from the Amazing Spider-Man panel at WonderCon.  Most notable is the fact that Emma Stone was originally brought in to play Mary Jane, before taking on the role of Gwen Stacy. Wait! – buh! It almost makes too much sense, since Stone is known for his red hair. Despite it being a dye job! A dye job! The horror.

I knew when I heard that Joseph Gordon-Levitt was donning  prosthetics  to play a young Bruce Willis in Looper  we were going to be in for a treat. I was right! The delicious warmth of correctness washing over me. This weekend at WonderCon us humanoids got our first look at this JGL-as-B-MFin-W, and it’s a bit ridiculous, a lot amazing.
