‘Mute’ Trailer: Duncan Jones’ Love Letter To Cyberpunk
Man, I still don’t know what Mute is about. Not only that, though, I really can’t tell if the movie is going to be any good. But, it’s fucking cyberpunk! And I really like Jones’ work on Moon and Source Code. So I’m pencilling myself in as “cautiously optimistic” and “mildly aesthetically aroused” for the time being.

Holy shit. For as long as OL has existed, have I ever been blathering about Duncan Jones’ dream project. The flick? A Blade Runner homage titled Mute. Through the years Jones has gone and done Source Code and Warcraft, and I had sort of written off ever seeing this movie. But! Now! It’s happening, and there are actual cast members.
Peyton Reed returning to direct ‘Ant-Man’ sequel, ‘Ant-Man And The Wasp’
When Edgar Wright left Ant-Man, I spent a good amount of time bemoaning his departure, and what it meant for the film. Additionally, I railed muchly against Marvel Studios’ replacement, Peyton Reed. Well! I ended up quite enjoying the movie. So I welcome Reed returning for the sequel. You?

Ant-Man is getting itself a sequel, which is dope. Fun as futz movie, and I’m willing to see more! And it’s going to be co-starring The Wasp. Also dope.
James Gunn futzing loves the ‘Ant-Man’ movie
The initial reports out of Ant-Man were that it was, surprisingly, an enjoyable flick to most. Being a Marvel fanboy, I took this to mean I would like it (to some extent). And now the director of my favorite Marvel movie has come out in support of the film. Granted, what’s he going to do? Bash a movie from the studio that is supporting him? Probably not. But the level, and forcefulness of his support makes me optimistic.
