I’ve been sick lately. For the past five days my life has consisted of scraping the existential paste out of bed, nodding somewhat coherently as I teach, and napping. Fitful, sweaty naps. The sort of naps that could fill a Gatorade bottle and whose flopping fiction could power a small town.
I have not slept. I cannot breath. I am here though. When there’s a dance you have to show up. Do your courtesies and press your fleshes.

Marvel Set To Announce New ‘Defenders’ Comic At Comic-Con.
Marvel’s been dropping teasers images this week. The teasers which feature the outlines of the Red Hulk, Silver Surfer, Iron Fist, and Dr. Strange were all filled with words pertaining to the character and the tagline “It’s either in you or not”. Just what could that mean? Bleeding Cool has cracked the code.

When it rains hi-res pictures it fucking pours them. Following up some hi-res goodies from ‘The Hobbit’ today comes a blow-out of pictures from the Amazing Spider-Man. Marvel Making Short Films About Lesser Known Characters. Iron Fist, Son!
There isn’t any sort of Iron Fist short announced. Unfortunately. I can draw optimism that it may exist someday, with the announcement that Marvel is filming short movies based off of lesser known characters in their universe.
‘Thor 2’ Being Written By Don Payne. He Did F4: Rise of the Silver Surfer. Oh No.
Marvel-Disney-Corpo-World has revealed who is going to be writing ‘Thor 2’. His name is Don Payne, and he wrote Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. First Kenneth Bragnah isn’t involved, and now this. My sphincter tightens.
