‘Diablo 3’ has sold more than 30 million units. The Dark Master is omnipresent
I really need to play Diablo 3‘s expansion pack. Namely because I bought it, and never played it. Though also because I’ve heard that the third installment in the Diablo 3 franchise has actually become quite solid through expansion and patching. Can anyone around speak to that? Can anyone around here play it with me?
Patrick Stewart confirms he is in next ‘Wolverine’ movie
The third Wolvie solo flick is going to feature none other than Patrick Stewart reprising his role as Professor Charles Xavier. Which, I guess, I’m sort of surprised by. Stewart gave up the Xavier-reins in the X-Men franchise proper, and so I sort of imagine that was that. But hey! It’s nice to see him making an appearance in Hugh Jackman’s final flick portraying the Canadian berserker.
‘Deadwood’ movie may finally be happening
This is for you, Johnny Hotsauce. Know that I meant to post about it earlier, and somehow I forgot to save it in my Feedly articles. But yes. Rejoice, rejoice in the fact that Deadwood may suffer a glorious rebirth upon the silver screen. (And a movie coming may very well be the push I need to indulge this work of art.)
Watch: MIT has built a fully-functioning robot bartender. WELCOME TO THE FUTURE.
How do you take your drink, pardner? Do you take it from a robot, ensuring that you’re working towards being as fucking cyberpunk as possible? I goddamn hope so.
‘The Force Awakens’ Leak: Luke Skywalker first look. Futz yes.
Whelp. The first look at Luke Skywalker has leaked. I’m putting it past a spoiler wall, though shitty other sites aren’t. It’s not a frame from the movie, nor is it a publicity still. It’s about what you’d expect if you ever wondered, “what would Luke Skywalker look like as a Jedi Master?”, but I feel you if you want to hold off experiencing it until the film.
‘Sesame Street’ is moving to HBO. Apparently the directions there require premium cable
Sesame Street is moving to HBO, and I can’t help but feel like that sucks. Taking such a wonderful show for children available on PBS and putting it behind a paywall feels like a green-tinted shade of capitalist bullshit! Just saying.
