‘Borderlands 3’ confirmed to be Gearbox Software’s next game
I have been patient. Coming up on four years patient for a proper sequel to one of my favorite games of all time, Borderlands 2. As a reward? Nothing. Silence. A crappy spin-off game. And silence. But that is about to change, I guess. Borderlands 3 has been confirmed to be Gearbox’s next game. And while I don’t think the game will be arriving anytime soon, just to see it acknowledged, just to see it acknowledged as coming gets me excited.
Microsoft has ended ‘Xbox 360’ production; fare thee well
It is with somber tones, ashen eyes, and a strained sadness that I announce that the Xbox 360 has ceased production. Man, my Xbox 360 and me spent some serious fucking time together. Or rather, my three Xbox 360s and me spent some serious fucking time together. From Gears to the Mass Effect series to Fallout 3, I probably chalked up thousands of hours of my twenty-somethings on Microsoft’s sophomore console.

Stardew Valley seems like the kind of game that would consume my wife’s life, if it was out for iOS. I haven’t played, and I’m not sure I’d enjoy it, but I certainly respect it, and the community it has engendered. Here’s a member of the community throwing it back to the classic Chocobo Theme.

‘Red Dead Redemption 2’ Map Leaked Online; Game Will Be A Prequel
RDR is getting a sequel! Its map has leaked! I’m excited for this, but I’m also shamed. I have not played RDR. Of all the games in the Gaming Classics Pantheon that I regret having not played, RDR is up there. Along with (shh) Link To The Past and Symphony Of The Night.
