It’s been rumored, it’s been spoken about in hushed and sometimes horrified whispers, now it’s looking really-real. There’s a new Blade Runner film coming, and it’s been spearheaded by Papa Blade Runner himself.

I’ve been looking forward to Alfonso Cuarón’s Gravity for a while now. Fuck, I’ve been looking forward to anything Cuarón since Children of Men. So any time there’s news regarding the science-fiction project he’s working on, my ears perk up. They doubly perk when Cuarón’s bestie Guillermo Del Toro calls the project insane and mind-blowing.

Duncan Jones is one of my favorite up and coming directors. Moon is one of my favorite movies of the past five years, and Source Code was enjoyable. What I’m now sweating is what Jones has been calling his ‘homage to Blade Runner’, talking about it even before making Source Code.

Here’s the thing. I’ve been telling myself that I’m trying to keep the Dark Knight Rises as fresh as possible for when I go into the theater. It is almost impossible. Certain news sites just up and throw spoilers everywhere in their headlines. I’m trying to not do the same, not be as specific. I wasn’t certain how I felt about the possibility of a new Terminator sequel until now. I had hemmed and hawed. Equivocated. Now I know. For when I saw news that Justin Lin met with Arnold and James Cameron regarding a new Terminator flick I was all fuck yeah!
Video: Fan Made Trailer For New ‘Conan’ Movie Gets It Right. Blood, Metal, and Sex
I’m excited for the new Conan the Barbarian movie. It was genetically designed to appeal to meat-head-dork metal-fiends like myself. Blood!, axes!, boobies! This fan made trailer takes actual footage from the movie and present itself in a manner that makes it undeniable to me. If this was released as an official red band trailer it’d be the best piece of marketing for the film yet.

Ridley Scott Working On ‘Call of Duty: Elite’ Content. Srsly? Interesting.
There’s nothing that’s going to get me to subscribe to Call of Duty: Elite. Right? Well maybe if signing up gets you the Call of Duty DLC deluge for a reduced price. Or. Or. Or if Ridley Scott released something so asshole-quiveringly dope through the service that my fanboy soul needs it. This is somehow, oddly, a distinct possibility now that Scott has signed-up to provide the service with new content.
Bruce Willis Playing Original Joe In ‘G.I. Joe 2: Retaliation’? Yes Please.
The cast for G.I. Joe 2 is already ridiculous. The Rock. Wonder Woman. That guy from Wu-Tang. All augmenting the cast of a super-cheesy but really fun original movie. Yeah, I enjoyed it. Do something! Now the rumors about Bruce Willis joining the cast are heating up. Let’s get this! Get this done.
