Maybe: Adam McKay writing ‘Ant-Man and The Wasp’
After Edgar Wright dropped the project, Adam McKay did punch-up work on the original Ant-Man script. Briefly, he was in talks to direct, and that never happened. And now it is looking like he *may* be writing it. I would fucking love this.
Xbox One getting backwards compatibility for 104 games this week
XB1 is getting that backwards compatibility game on this week, with an initial list of 104 games being supported. I know the aforementioned list is much maligned for the titles it contains, but just the promise of b/c in general has me stoked. Plus! I mean. It features Mass Effect, and apparently it runs better on the XB1.

Monday Morning Commute! The weekly column where all of us gather (you! and you! and you! and you and you and you! all of you!) to share what we’re excited in a given week. I’m going to level with you — this week for me it is pretty much That Game and Everything Else In My Life. A deep, delineating chasm can be seen from PsychicSpace, and it represents how neatly my life has been cleaved into two this week.
But I suppose I’m doing some other things this week, and I suppose you may be doing something else as well! So let’s gab about our existential happenings and all that gobbledygook.
‘Star Wars’ Non-News: ‘Episode VIII’ script is done, says J.J. Abrams
Don’t forget. The Force Awakens ain’t just the return of Star Wars, its the kick-off for the annual extraction of Forceful dollars from all of us Star Wars fanboys. And while there are anthology movies coming and such, it’s the “Skywalker Saga” that is the beefiest proposition for me. And just as Episode VII looms, the Episode VIII script has been finished.

The war between Netflix and Amazon continues. The former snagged the rights to Beasts of No Nation this year, and Amazon has answered by procuring the rights to the next Winding Refn jam.

Well, the Demon Hunter shows no lack of raging fortitude, huh? I’ll be back for this WoW expansion, just like I’m back for all of them. (Though, I didn’t even play Warlords. I just uh, sort of bought it. But that counts on some level, right?)
