Water on Mars. It’s enough to get the tits of any geek tightening. Just the mere words. Scientists have it in their Wunder-Books proof that there were two oceans on the Red Planet. This makes me way, way, way too emotional for some reason.

There could a new Star Trek TV show coming courtesy of That Guy Who Made Usual Suspects and Those X-Mutant Movies.

Sony’s upping their Amazing Spider-Man promotional game, dropping a theatrical trailer for the flick. Aside from the action sequences briefly featured, the movie continues to not do much for me. Video: Ending Theme To Indie Hit ‘Bastion’ Performed Live. Goosey Bumpy Time.
I loved Bastion, the indie game that dropped on XBLA last year. A grindy little game with heart that also featured a hell of a soundtrack. Last week at the New York Video Game Critics Circle Awards, songwriter Darren Korb and singer Ashley Barrett performed the ending theme to the game. It’s awesome.

Producer Says It’s ‘Patently False’ Ford Is In Talks For ‘Blade Runner’ Sequel. Phew.
As Forrest Gump once said, “Rumors is as rumors does, boogers, cliche pop culture reference, tee-hee pee joke”. We should have recalled that line from that movie over the weekend, when it rumors about Harrison Ford appearing in the Blade Runner sequel came to boil. It ain’t happening folks! Probably.

I just woke up from a nap. The time-stamp on my compu-deck is 9:45PM. The natural inference is that I’m going to stay up too late, not get enough sleep, and drag ass all day tomorrow.
This is going to be a problem.
So how will I combat the First World Problem of being overtired at work? Well, with huge scoops of entertainment that’ll either sharpen my mind or further dull it! The Amazing Spider-Man is the movie I keep forgetting about this year. It could be great! It really could. It just keeps slipping my mind underneath an avalanche of Dark Knight Rises, Prometheus, Avengers, Django Unchained, Looper…and more.
